Nola vernalis (Dagger Tuft Moth)

The adult moth of this species is grey with two or three irregular spotted dark arcs across each forewing. The hindwings are pale grey. The moth has a wingspan of about 2 cms. The sexes are similar. The labial palps are straight and about as long as the head plus thorax. This species is has been found in: New South Wales,  Victoria,  Tasmania, and  South Australia.
