I have done an initial search on iNaturalist and the ALA and not found a match to this species.
However, John (jb2602) has drawn attention, see above, to ''Hypeninae sp. (2) ' a moth illustrated by the authors of Moths of Victoria (Part 8) on their supporting disc to that Part. They illustrate two specimens only from Victoria at Gembrook (2008) and Cann River (2018). They say they have only recorded the species twice and the Australian distribution is unknown. I suggest John's photo above is a close match to their illustrated second specimen from Cann River (23 February 2018). If this sighting of John's could be shown the same species it could be the first known additional record outside of Victoria.
