Using the notes which are a guide to identification,, this moth is difficult to distinguish from P. testaceiocollis because the collar is quite light in colour and should be darker brown for that species, however the notes say there can be a lighter edge to collar which is apparent here, leading me to agree it's likely P. bistrigula.

A first record of this species for NatureMapr and NayureMapr's South Coast region. Excellent photo.
Records of this species in eastern Australia seem to be distributed predominantly in coastal tropical Queensland and the sub-tropical coast of northern NSW. This record may represent an extension of the known range of this species to coastal southern NSW.
