What a fantastic looking fungus!! Never seen one like this before. All I can think is that it maybe a Cortinarius because of the cortina on the top section of the stipe (stem) and the rust coloured spores that can be seen there and on the edge of the cap. So I'll put it up as a suggestion and see if I'm able to get any more information about your amazing record.
