User's notes

Testament to how dry Black Range is now, despite the early autumn rain: this lizard was drinking from our birdbath. It was the first time I've seen this species drink.

Likewise, I don't ever recall having seen a Jacky Dragon drinking from an open body of water like this before. As you probably know, dragons typically get most of their water needs met from the food they eat, which for this species is primarily invertebrates (mostly insects). Good shot of a rarely seen observation.
