This male is the one which Steph and I believe mated with the female that I posted on the Atlas the other day.

I thought this specimen looked like a male as well. How you telling the genders apart?

Thanks Patrick. This Jacky is, we believe, the one Steph saw on top during the mating event. Also it is noticeably darker in colour.

Thanks Matthew. I've found that males tend to have a proportionately larger, more robust head and a very dark grey (sometimes almost black) throat, chest & underside, including forearms. These tonal differences may be stronger in the warmer months, especially the breeding season.
